"From soil we rise, to soil we return."
Sister Valentina remains in solar orbit following the successful launch of Sporeflight II. Prayer vigils continue nightly at 8 PM. Updates forthcoming in our weekly newsletter, The Spore Report.
Welcome, beloved fungal family. The Church of Latter-Day Mushrooms is a spiritual community dedicated to the sacred cycle of growth, decay, and renewal. We believe in the interconnectedness of all living things through the great mycelial network.
Our teachings emphasize humility, patience, and the understanding that from decomposition comes new life. We gather to meditate on spores, cultivate both mushrooms and spiritual growth, and support one another through life's many seasons.
Whether you're an experienced cultivator or simply curious about the fungal path, all are welcome to join our community.
Our ambitious Celestial Sporeflight Program seeks to bring fungal consciousness beyond Earth's atmosphere. After the initial setback of Sporeflight I (which achieved 14 feet before toppling onto Brother Ezekiel's goat pen), Sporeflight II successfully launched Sister Valentina into solar orbit.
While her failure to return has created unexpected complications, we remain committed to exploring the cosmos through the sacred vessel of mushrooms. The program continues under the guidance of Brother Ezekiel, Chief of Mission Control.
Note: The Safety Committee meets biweekly. Stronger duct tape has been acquired.
